What is "The Heart of It?"

"The Heart of It" is our ongoing give-back initiative rooted in compassion and community. Each month, a portion of the proceeds from our monthly collection will go directly toward helping a family facing medical debt, easing their burden during an already challenging season. It’s our way of turning compassion into action and showing up for families when they need it most. 

How does "The Heart of It" work?

The Family

The families we support are identified through trusted connections and thoughtfully vetted to ensure each situation is credible and the need is genuine. We take great care in reviewing every story so the support goes where it’s needed most, during a season that truly matters.

The Give Back

A portion of the proceeds from every item in our monthly collection is set aside to support that month’s selected family. Once the collection closes, funds are given directly to the family to help ease the burden of medical expenses and bring a little relief during a challenging time.

Your Impact

Each monthly collection is designed to speak to your heart while also supporting a family in need. We’ll share updates on our website so you can see the difference this community is making together and the lives you are helping support.

What are the monthly collections?

Each monthly collection centers on a theme that uplifts, motivates, and encourages you to take action. 

The collection will drop on the first of each month and be available for a limited time.

Each theme is powerful, and we will go on a journey together to see how the products and themes can add value to your life and those around you. 

What about my Mom Squad Membership? 

The LMSS Mom Squad isn’t going anywhere! We will still be delivering unique, high-quality pieces to you every month. The Mom Squad will include just-for-fun pieces and holiday items, too. You can still pause, skip, or cancel at any time. 

The one change you will see: Mom Squad reveals will be held on the 10th of every month instead of the 5th. This will give you 10 days to decide whether you want the product that month, instead of 15 days.

What about LMSS holiday drops?

Holiday drops have been the backbone of my brand for years. We love celebrating magical moments with you! 

We will still have holiday items on the website and will add to them as we see fit to create the best experience for you and your family. 

What about items already on the website? 

We are simplifying our website in order to create a better shopping experience for you! We will keep our best-selling year-round items for your family, as well as holiday items, and we will also have our monthly drops moving forward. 

Why We're Evolving:

As Little Mama Shirt Shop has grown and we've built VAST Apparel alongside it, we've been able to give back in ways we haven't before. 

LMSS is where our community began and where so many of you have supported us from the very start. We've been incredibly grateful for that. 

We want to move forward in a way that's more focused, more intentional, and rooted in impact. By simplifying and going deeper with LMSS, we can make it the main source of our giving and allow the brand you've stood behind for years to now stand behind families who need it most.

This truly is The Sisterhood of Motherhood.
